සිංහල ඉස්ලාමීය කාව්‍ය සංග්‍රහය

 

රමණීය දූපත් රාජ්‍යයක් වූ ශ්‍රී ලංකා ද්වීපයට   ඉස්ලාමය නම් ආලෝකමත් මාවත රැගෙන ඒමේ ගෞරවය අරාබිවරුන්ට හිමිය. එය එවක විසූ අරාබි වරුන් විසින් මෙරටට කළ උතුම් වූ මෙහෙවරයන් අතරින් එකකි. ඊට පසු කාලීනව ඉන්දියානු මලබාර් මුසල්මානුවන්ගේ මෙරට ආගමනයත් සමගම මෙරටටම ආවේණික වූ ඉස්ලාමීය සංස්කෘතියක් නිර්මාණය විය. එකී සංස්කෘතිය තුළ දමිළ බස යන්න මුසල්මානුවන්ගේ මව් බස ලෙසින් ප්‍රචලිත විය. නමුත් සිය ආගමික වතාවත් ඉටු කිරීම සඳහා අරාබි බස ද ඔවුන් යොදා ගත්හ. ඒ අතරවාරයේ එවක විසූ ලාංකීය මුසල්මානුවන්ගේ ප්‍රධාන ජීවනෝපාය වූ වෙළඳාම සහ ගොවිතැන ආශ්‍රිතව කටයුතු කිරීමේදී සිය රටේ වෙසෙන බහුතරයක් වූ සිහල ජනතාව සමග සන්නිවේදනය කිරීම පිණිස සිංහල භාෂාව ද සුළු වශයෙන් යොදා ගැනිණි. නමුත් පසුකාලීනව ස්වදේශීය මුසල්මානුවන්ගේ අධ්‍යාපන ක්ෂේත්‍රයෙහි ලද ප්‍රබෝධයත් වෙළඳ සබඳතා වල ප්‍රතිඵලයන් ලෙසත් සිහල ජනතාව සමග ඇති කරගත් අවාහ විවාහ වල ප්‍රතිඵලයන් ලෙසත් අද වන විට චතුරව සිංහල බස හසුරවන ලාංකීය මුසල්මානුවන්ගෙන් සමන්විත සමාජයක් මෙරට නිර්මාණය වී තිබේ. එයින් ඇරඹෙන සිහල බස හසුරුවන මුසල්මානුවාගේ ඉස්ලාමීය සාහිත්‍යයට සිංහල සාහිත්‍ය නිර්මාණ එක් කිරීමේ අරමුණින් 'අවිශද මාරුත අතරින් ක්ෂේමයන් සොයා' නම් ඉස්ලාමීය කාව්‍ය සංග්‍රහය මෙසේ නිර්මාණය වු වගයි. සුවහසක් වූ සිංහල බස හසුරුවන මෙරට ජනතාව උදෙසා තවතවත් මෙවැනි නිර්මාණයන් බිහි වේවා යැයි ඉත සිතින් පතමි.

The Arabs have the honor of bringing the enlightened path of Islam to the beautiful  nation island of Sri Lanka.  It was one of the great services rendered to the country by the Arabs of that time.  Later, with the arrival of Indian Malabar Muslims in Sri Lanka, a unique Islamic culture was created in the country.  In that culture, Tamil became the mother tongue of the Muslims.  But they also used Arabic to perform their religious rituals.  At the same time, the Sinhala language was used sparingly to communicate with the majority Sinhala people in their country in dealing with trade and agriculture, the main livelihoods of the Sri Lankan Muslims of the time.  However, as a result of the subsequent revival of the education of indigenous Muslims, as a result of trade relations and intermarriage with the Sinhala people, a society of Sri Lankan Muslims who are fluent in the Sinhala language has emerged today.  This is how the collection of Islamic poetry entitled '#අවිශද_මාරුත_අතරින්_ක්ෂේමයන්_සොයා ' was created with the aim of adding Sinhala literary creations to the Islamic literature of the Muslim who speaks the Sinhala language. I sincerely hope that more such creations will be created for the people of this country who speak thousands of Sinhala language.
